Hi, I'm Kristian.
My family moved to Ann Arbor in October 2024. I got to know the town the slow way, on two wheels, exploring neighborhoods with friends and with my young son. That's how I learned which streets feel like home, and it's how I help you learn it too.
Helping people find their footing
Before real estate, I spent more than a decade at New Mexico State University, rising from Study Abroad Advisor to director-level leadership across international education: the Office of Education Abroad (where I grew student participation 150%), the Center for English Language Programs, International Student and Scholar Services, and the Office of International Initiatives, plus a stint as Assistant to the Provost for International Programs.
In 2015 I founded Study New Mexico USA, an international education business I ran for nine years, building scholarship pathways that helped Vietnamese students access more than $2.5 million in funding. I also spent two years in Ireland as Relationships Coordinator with Learn International, developing university partnerships across the U.S. and Canada.
My whole career has been about helping people find their footing somewhere new: listening first, explaining clearly, then helping.
I've actually done the work
I bring the same approach to real estate, plus something most agents don't have. I'm a licensed agent and former top producer with four years in residential real estate as an Associate Broker, with 60 career sales and a 4.9-star rating from 25 client reviews on Zillow. I've also personally renovated four homes, including one I turned into a successful Airbnb I managed myself. When I tell you a house has potential, it's because I've created it with my own hands. See the before & after.
I hold a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, which is a fancy way of saying I'm trained to make complicated things clear. Buying or selling a home shouldn't feel confusing. With me, it won't.
Listen first. Explain clearly. Then roll up my sleeves.
